This is one of my favorite bags. I have made several of these using different size hooks and have used some of the bags as storage bags for afghans I have made using the same colors. for the eyelet holes, I used small plastic rings to make them more sturdy. On a few of my bags I have used the plastic rings and double yarn to create shoulder straps. Thank you Kathy Merrick for creating such a lovely design.

I just finished this bag this morning. I used lion brand microspun in bright colors. I didn't see this video until after I finished. I put 1 grommet on each side toward the top and added a chain handle. It sure is fun to make and a great summer bag!

Thanks so much for this video. The pattern was in Interweave Magazine and there seemed to be one or two steps missing, but she touched on it perfectly in this video. It is turning out nicely and beautifully.
