I think it was said somewhere else before, but even if the shooter didn't stop the intruder, he/she still was able to draw attention away from the other people so that none of them (as far as I could see) were even shot at. A lot more people would've been killed if the CCW person didn't draw the intruder's attention. They run the risk of being killed/injured themselves, but at least they saved many lives!

I hate this anti-gun biased bullshit. MorrisonRisson makes all the valid points. It's a bullshit fucking setup, and I for one am tired of seeing stupid shit like this. At least the instructor at least got hit once or twice which is more than if everyone was unarmed, such as in the Virginia Tech and Columbine incidents. The basic truth is sometimes you have to fight fire with fire. In war you don't fight an invading army with tea and crumpets you get an army and fight back. With cancer we use radiation and chemo to kill the cancer. With a homicidal maniac the only thing that is going to stop him is ending his life.
