Lol to bad the shad rap and the DT are the best lures from Rapala. I catch everything on those. Not to mention you don't just use rapalas for trout. Rooster tails and panther martins all day or powerbait and worms

You didn’t catch anything on your, ”last fishing adventure” because you’re probably using your gear wrong! On the Rapala lures, you use a “Rapala Knot”! Look it up. Where you wondering why they were twisting in the water as you reeled them in? Well there you go. And 50lb test? Wow, where the hell are you fishing at? You have totally the wrong gear for line like that!!

Dude the perch works best in canals and rivers and lakes no salt water you fucking idiot, you use any them lures there and you will be finding yourself going to Walmart to buy more of them

Those hooks on the minnow rap won't last a single fish in salt water

weres your contdown sinker

@yabudday121 No, that is what the lure is immitating. Perch for a perch pattern on the lure, or rainbow trout for that color patern on the lure. You use this so you can match whatever forage fish is in the water you are fishing. An example is to use the Perch Colors in waters where perch live if you are trolling for walleye.

@adolson I normally use open face reels, however, I still use an old Zebco 33 from when I was young. It is the only reel I have ever seen last 25 years and still working like when it was new with no breakdowns ever. I currently use it if I want to set up a live bait rig while I fish an open-face, leaving the reel set open so if a fish takes it, it can strip line off while I get to it. Say what you want. The old ones were good, tough reels.

@mylifesucks98 it is 50lb braid. the 12lb is an indicator of the line diameter, comparing it to traditional (mono) line..

that's a spinning reel you're got there, not a spincast reel. nobody uses (or wants to use) spincast reels except maybe unfortunate children. :) and that isn't a spinner on your line, it's a snap swivel. a spinner is a type of lure.
first off they are called rah-pah-lah not repela second they are not bibs they are lips third rainbow trout in ponds are small and those floaters arent gonna work try tiny inline spinners and the color for the deep diving one will disapear in the deep dark water...just some constructive critism
