Step Africa! in Saarbrücken

Sponsored by PA Frankfurt, seven artists from Step Africa! rocked Saarbrücken University on May 24th and brought the entire student audience to their feet, clapping and cheering along. Step Africa! is a DC-based company which has its roots in collegiate stepping, but also integrates elements of South African gumboot dancing, tap and hip hop. The performers bring their art into countries all over the world and have recently returned from a Middle East trip. This program was made possible by PA Frankfurt's cooperation with the U.S. Embassy in Luxembourg that brought the group over for a transatlantic dialogue on "Living Culture in the University".
