Health Care Reform is coming (Pt1) Your Choice, Your Money

What do you want? Our presidential candidates pull health care plans out of a hat, ignoring the reform experiences of other countries. PBS Frontline examines other systems that could cut costs, improve care and eliminate the uninsured. This piece compares U.S., Swiss and Taiwanese systems. Systems that are probably acceptable to the U.S. and similar to existing U.S. models. Also, makes the point that we don't have a "system," but a health care "market." There is no oversight to serve or protect consumers.

You are right tintin! The health insurance lobbyists and the pharma lobbyists are two of the biggest contributors. We need finance campaign reform is a big way. Then Congress can start caring about their people instead of trying to make money for their campaign.
