(cont) "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!" she pleaded.

"Oh, no no, it's okay. Don't worry." Ron smiled.

"Go-good morning." Hermione greeted.

Hermione didn't realize that her finger was still on Ron's lower lip.

"Did you kiss me Hermione?" Ron asked, laughing.

"Huh? Wha—oh my goodness!" Hermione removed her finger on Ron's lips.

"Just tell me if you want to kiss me, I'm always ready." He was laughing when Hermione stood up.

"No thanks!" She walked towards her room but she didn't notice Ron was following her. She closed the door and faced her drawer and opened it. She was busy choosing what clothes she would wear that day when she spoke up. She was talking to herself.

"No Hermione! Control yourself. You will never kiss Ronald Weasley again!" by that, she slammed the cabinet's door and almost jumped out of shock. She saw Ron smiling flirtatiously at her. Her mouth was left slightly opened.

"And why not?" Ron walked towards her and pinned her on the cabinet's door. She was an instant prisoner inside his arms.

"be-because.." she said.

"hmm?" Ron waited for her answer.

"because, I don't know! I'm—" she paused for a while. "because I'm afraid that with that kiss, I'd fall for you all over again. I'm afraid you—you'll hurt me again!" Hermione was crying. Ron held her chin and lifted her face so that he could face her. He wiped the tears off of her face.

"Do you think I'll hurt you again? Do you think I'll commit the same mistake again? Hermione, I lost you once and I will never let that horrible thing happen again. I love you, Mione. I still love you. Say those words to me, and I promise you, I will be yours forever." Ron looked at her eyes, begging. Hermione just shook her head.

"I'm sorry Ron. I'm sorry." Hermione looked at him. She noticed disappointment on his face. Ron freed her from his arms.

"Okay, if that's what you've decided." Ron walked out from the room. He couldn't describe what he was feeling. He wanted to cry but he fought the tears on his eyes. When he was about to go out the house, he saw Rose. The little girl smiled and hugged him.

"Daddy! I missed you!" Ron carried her up and kissed her cheek.

"I miss you too baby. Why do you came back early?" Ron asked.

"because I missed my mom and dad." Rose smiled at him. "Where's mommy?"

"Oh she's in the room."

"Daddy, please bring me where mommy is..."

"So—sorry baby, I have to go." Ron brought Rose down and he walked towards his car.

'I think I need to wind up a little...' Ron said to himself.
