Professor Benny Morris warned that the 'Middle East may be heading for a new dark age' when he outlined the ramifications of the Arab Spring for Israel at the IISS this on 14 June 2011 He spoke about the benefits of the status quo in the Middle East before this year's uprising, given that past leaders, despite their flaws, were at least 'reasonable and predictable'.
A new generation of leaders in the Middle East presented new dangers to Israel and the West, said Morris, as they may be 'governed by extremist ideologies and absolutist aims', and might be 'more responsive to the anti-Israeli groundswell on the street'.

i don't understand how a country with a large number of nukes can tell another country not to have nukes i believe they should lead by example and disarm them self or let every country have nukes which would be a good thing because we would not have wars and these presidents declaring wars would think about the ramification before invading other country's
in other words every country should concentrate on their domestic issues

BENNY MORRIS IS A JERRY SPRINGER SHOW "HISTORIAN"

Nasty and Racist, Morris is part of the Hasbarah comissioned by Aparthide israHell to propogate hatred for the Palestinian cause under the guise of "education"
Isn't it strange that despite israHell stealing so much from the world, they are losing every battle. No wonder they went crazy in Oslo.

Sounds to me like Arab Spring would be a great time to eradicate those knuckle dragging idiots! You can't reason with a muslim, the only thing they understand is violence. Give them what they need.

@ambuj1991 But after all is said & done, at least you have a passion to learn about this. It's the single most important intractable problem in human history, & the potential upside to solving the problems are equally great in scale.
Since you seem to be unbigoted, with a sense of justice, why not see if Islamic Imperialists learned anything from the Nazis? Please come to my channel & attack my collections. See who is right. Maybe you will win me over, & "kill" one of the enemy. You're welcome!

@ambuj1991 "careful examination"
I'm just stunned that anyone can use those words in such a way that makes 3 things clear;
1) you don't know the facts
2) you are aware of superficial remarks aka scuttlebutt etc. commonly made
3) For you, words have little meaning beyond their rhetorical value
"Careful examination" meaning the skimming of moveon.org or any other *advocate* source. Here's a clue; my research is authenticated through hostile sources confessions, etc. of firsthand witnesses

@ambuj1991 "careful examination of the israeli strategy in the region for the past 60 years"
This remark blew me away, & still does! I had to review my media again, & do you know that even if your claims are true, didn't you know that Israel did not attack Jordan until last, when they shelled Jerusalem? Fucking King Hussein even said so. King Hussein also warned Israel about the sneak attack from Syria and Egypt. Contrast the DETAILS of 1967 vs. 1973.

@ambuj1991 "@constructivereconcil just in case you play the anti-semitism card too..you have said practically everything else already..what a bloody joke you are.."
So while your sources & you are very likely as un-bigoted as anyone else, it still hurts when justice is denied. What would you do if you found out that some group had been successfully targeted, their reputation destroyed, to the degree that even seemingly rational people thought them evil? Just go along with it?
You already have.
