Dry Bones: The Ezekiel Prophecy

Iran, formerly known as Persia, is clearly identified in Ezekiel 38:2- 8: "The word of the LORD came to me: "Son of man, set your face against Gog, the prince of Rosh, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal; prophesy against him and say:

'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army—your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords.

Persia, Cush and Put will be with them, all with shields and helmets, also Gomer with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah from the far north with all its troops—the many nations with you. In future years you will invade a land that has recovered from war, whose people were gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate."

Many Bible scholars have identified "Gog and Magog, and especially, Rosh, as Russia. Meshech has been identified with Moscow. Persia is Iran, Cush is the ancient name for Sudan, in Africa, and Put, or Phut, is the ancient name for Libya. Gomer is identified with part of modern-day Turkey. Beth-Togarmah is associated with the Caucusus region and Georgia.

Later on, in Ezekiel 38:22, Ezekiel predicts, under divine inspiration, that God will "pour down torrents of rain, hailstones, and burning sulfur on him (Gog and Magog) and his troops and on the many nations with him." This is the precise description of a nuclear bomb.

@ButSheSaidSheWas18 you proceed from several false assumptions. 1) that reason is on your side; 2) that God is male; 3) that God lives on a cloud; 4) that God does nothing about rape and murder. To the first, reason is on both sides of this issue, I am just not afraid of admitting the other side has good points even if I disagree. Second, God is beyond gender. Third, God dwells within us all. Fourth, God does plenty to stop rape and murder...God sent you and I. We screw that up.

When Jesus was Baptized, a "Voice" was heard that said, "This is My Son, Listen to Him." God gave his approval on Jesus as the "WORD" i.e. Spokesman for God. This is also why Jesus said, "I have made your name known." Jesus is the coming Judge yet everyone thinks they are going to walk around and shake hands with him. The Bible is clear, Life Everlasting comes from the acceptance of Jesus Christ.

No where in the Scriptures does God say that Man "Must" align himself with anyone or organization on Earth to accept Christ. However there are many Organizations that put themselves up as Idols saying "Only 'WE' Have the Bibles Truth" Follow Us.

Case in point, How many times can a religion Change it's teachings and teach New where what was thought before? That is FALSEHOOD! God's People would have the Truth already.

Ofcourse they are selling it. I don't know about them but if they are making money then they can use it for Gods works and to spread Gods word. Don't you understand? Ministries need money. And God has different ways of providing. Selling things like this is one possible way.
