King was a minister, not a politician. LBJ did not pass any bill, Congress did. All Civil Rights legislation from 1865 to 1965were Republican written and passed by Republicans in Congress. The 1964 bill from kennedy was the 1875 bill that the democrats had overturned 100 years earlier. The republicans approved the bill 82% while the Democrats who had a majority in Congress only supported the bill by 60%. Democrats supported slavery, segregation and White Supremacy. Republicans ended all of that.

Thank you. This is a brilliant piece of sound-byte satire.

What about the bus boycotts and the sit-ins and all of the people that died to show that freedom was more important to them than life in an oppressive society? It didn't start there? Come on Billary! LBJ called JFK an SOB after he was assassinated. He wasn't doing what he thought was right. He was doing what he had to do given the state of the nation and the pressures that the civil rights movement required of him.
