To stop the flame from hitting the lid, you need to make something that moves in the space between the flame and can as it goes out. So the flame won't fall back , or at least has less chance because of using K'nex lol

A.MA.ZING.
-
what the f*ck.

@hendersonhigh Unless the propellant is ether based, which I highly doubt, there is no oxygen in the bottle so there is no way the flame will go into the bottle and blow it up.
-
if you had it so when you released the trigger it put down a knex or plastic 'shield), it wouldn't recede right? and if you lined the whole damn thing with carbon fiber, styrofoam, it wouldn't explode too bad right?
-
pyromaniac stage?
-
that is sick

@hendersonhigh how should the flame go into the bottle? there's no oxygen -.-
-
shit man tht is awsome and dangours:-)
Instructions:
1. remote control knex set/remote control car
2. can of 3-m spray mount glue
3. long lighter
-gear down the motor and attach a string to the axel so the motor pulls really hard on the string
-attach the string to a sliding tower which presses down on the nozzel of the spray can
-duck tape the lighter trigger to the on position, so it constantly emits a flame, and position it directly in front of the nosel
-have some fun with an r/c flame thrower!
