It's funny that as much as I like Seven the character and Jeri's portrayal of her, I don't find Jeri herself all that attractive. Kate Mulgrew, on the other hand, takes my breath away in any role, not just as Janeway :-)

Jeri Ryan has *complete* mastery over every tiny micron of her face and neck. Every expression is chiselled perfect to broadcast the emotion behind it. A brilliant actor who finds ample space to showcase her entire variety of skills in this role. If only Oscars were awarded for TV shows.

#2 was more emotive than #1 i equally enjoyed jeri ryan as a child actor in her early yrs

Only on Voyager... they bring on a crewmember that was violated as a child and when they take her away from the only life she's ever known, they treat her with suspicion and berate her for things that were not her fault... and then stick her in a cat suit on a 'progressive' show... just terrible... I feel sorry for 7of9... she deserved so much better than the Voyager crew...
