I did some research because it bothered me a bit.
Now I'm sure! the guy at 2:28 is from the game called samurai showdown 3. His name is Shizumaru Hisame, and apparently his umbrella is blue, not red, as I stated before =P.
I played this game a long time ago on neogeo xD
It's quite fun if I remembered correctly! perhaps you should give it a try ^^.
