Athena: So this is my friend, Amanda. Six months ago when prom came around she asked me to come over to the house to help her out with makeup and hair. Then she had to go over to her boyfriend's house.

Graphics: In 2008 16% of all fatal crashes were caused by driver distraction.

Athena: She went over to her boyfriend's house and they decided to have a few drinks. He was driving and he got anxious, swerving across the road.

Graphics: Car crashes kill more teens during the week of prom and graduation season then any other time.

Athena: Crashed into a tree. Died on impact.

Nick is sitting in a chair.

Nick: It's been about six months since our brother's been gone. I really miss him. It was his prom night and he was on his way to pick up his date.

Graphics: Alcohol is the cause of 60% of all teen deaths in car accidents.

Nick: She texted him to let him know she was ready. So in the process of answering the text he stopped paying attention to the road. And he swerved into oncoming traffic. He ended up getting hit. That poor man was deeply injured. But even worse, my brother was gone.

Athena & Nick: Dance. Don't chance.
