@marc777danielle Fair Warning is an amazing record, but I've been giving W&CF a lot of listens lately, and it's damn close...the 1st four albums got progressively better, then it was downhill...

Van Hagar was a generic rock band. Van Halen with Roth were a beast... they innovated and exploded the rock music scene. Nothing would be the same after stuff like Atomic Punks, Running with the Devil, Eruption and Ice Cream Man.

Agreed the new cd sounds just like they took off right where they left off but I still miss Mike. Too bad when the Sammy and Dave crew toured together on the same bill shit hit the fan and Mike made his decision and the crews battled it out when 1 band played a VH song and the other did then the other then the other. HAHAHA It sounds like Eddie took some Joe Satriani lessons with Steve Vai. I still here him throwing in some guitar licks from the earliest years. He is one of the best.
