Or you can take 10 minutes to make your own detergent. One grated up soap like Ivory, Irish Spring, one cup of washing soda, one cup of Borax, one cup of Oxi Clean versatile free (optional), and it will cost $.50 for 24 washes. Making your own cleaning and household supplies can save you SOOOO much more money, and it really doesn't take that much time.

This is all common sense though. You're not really showing any tips or anything. People should already know this stuff.

Coupons & free samples you can get online can help too. I signed up to a website and got a box full of body wash, shampoo, razors, deordorant, and toothpaste...all brand name stuff just for signing up. =)

When deodorant goes on sale wherever for a buck. I stock up for 4-6 months on it. I also buy in bulk for Jergens soap at Wallmart, Sometimes I'll just corn starch for deodorant. Hey it works lol.

Irish Spring Moisture Blast bar soap is inexpensive and doesn't dry your skin. Dollar Tree (if you have one) sells Lady's Speedstick solid deodorant for $1, and it works better for me than Secret, honestly. And if your clothing isn't getting regular stains (like kids with grass stains, etc), Purex liquid laundry detergent works great, and you can find BOGO deals a lot on it at various stores. (There are also homemade laundry soap recipes online, but I've not tried any.)

you should use organic deoterant because you can get breast cancer from the pore glands in your armpits being closed from not oranic deoterants.

True that! My mom brought stain remove on sale for $10 it was a big bottle.

you should also do a tutorial on things that can be found in the dollar stores and test them out for us.

Partner w/ friends & save more! For ex, I'm w/ Costco & my friend (who's like a sister) is w/ BJs. I use freezer bags; but, don't buy them in bulk (too many). My friend loves Costco's whole wheat bread. She gives me bags ~ I give her wheat bread. She knows I no longer buy paper towel in bulk since we downsized; so, she gives me paper towel. We're always looking for new healthy snacks, juice, personal care, etc. & save by trying new items together. It all balances out since trust is there.
One more great tip... When you use detergent use less than what the label says. you only really need 2-3 table spoons for a full load even less for the super concentrated stuff.. I only use 2 tablespoons for a FULL load of jeans. cleans great. Makes the laundry detergent last MUCH MUCH longer. manufactures want you to use more cause then you have to buy more.

I agree. I also use less but I add baking soda to the wash as well....it will stretch your detergent!
