GV06 Backslide

Track #6 from my 2009 album "Garden Variety", finally on YouTube! Angsty grungy teenage noise woohoo. Not a great vocal performance but I still like the song. I'm just glad I don't think this way anymore!

The coda riffs underneath the solo are a tribute to one of my favourite bands. You get a prize if you can tell me the artist or song or BOTH that the riffs are based on. Hint: there is one particular line of vocal that's reminiscent of the lead singer's distinctive style...
