While I may not necessarily agree with his statement, you have just belittled his opinion simply because you do not and then went on to insult him.

Musical taste, as with taste in literature or food, is an entirely subjective matter and the "you don't know how to appreciate it" argument is just as easily applied to either of those categories.

In summary, arguments over subjective issues are a waste of mental activity. Also, nyan.

Don't look down on western classical music just because you don't know how to appreciate it. Your "lively", "skittish" and "cheerful" Jap tunes are simply generic J-pop music given a classical rendition, specially catered and marketed to your weaboo tastes.

  • This song made me cry, which indicates

    THIS IS AN AWESOME SONG!!!

  • This is way better then the old time classics (in my opinion)

  • why o why does japan have all best shows?

WHY?! europes all boring, if haruhi lived here the world would be rebuild many times...

  • @armangidon, that's a symptom of Weeaboo, mate. Becareful. XD

Sorry, it seems I don't have the skill to keep a joke going even if I'm the one who started it ... had you going though. I just wish people who complain about "English dubbing" would actually take the time to understand the language a bit better or absorb real Japanese culture instead of automating "anime voice-acting =/= Japanese culture entirely".

  • @Gamer2k4 maybe you're right, but even so the European classical music does not sound such as in this case, if listening to Mozart, Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Bach, Satie you can feel the difference, the Japanese music is more lively and skittish cheerfuland particularly their very best tunes on the piano, I think so

    I apologize for my English

  • @armangidon There's nothing really "Japanese" about this music. This sounds much closer to classical Western music than to classical Eastern music.

That said, it's still a beautiful piece, and on of my favorites on the album. I especially like the part starting at 5:19.

  • this is one reason why I love Japanese culture and music, it seems to me that the most beautiful music is made by the Japanese

  • My favourite orchestrial video of this anime's soundtrack <3
