For our IB "Group 4" project we mounted a bottle of Coca Cola Light to a physics experimentation Trolley (I dont think thats the actual name...). By inserting different materials we triggered a reaction, the force of which was supposed to power the trolley. It actually worked quite well. Of the three reacatnts we used, baking powder worked the best. It was followed by ground up mentos, and ground up calcium tablets.
