I love Mr. Darcy's tactic. First he cleared the stress around Lizzy and made her chances of getting existing; then he cleared all other reason for her hatred towards him... (Jane & Bingley's meeting).. .. before that he already showed he could treat her family well.. and in the end when he though that she doesn't hate him- he confessed his love again and proposed. Oh, my- what an excelent man. I so want to marry him. I so love the book and this adaptation.

Though to be fair, Mr. Bennet does the same. That's why I've always felt bad for Mary, she gets that from both her parents.
