Anyone concerned that his dog is sitting in the path of fly hook being pulled from the water on every cast? One bit of poor luck and his hook could be embedded in his dear pet's nose, or eye. Not good.

@sjd123x the poor dog, brownie lived for 10 more years and he was 7 at the time. It's really no different than having a boat mate standing a few feet away. It could happen, and brownie was a veteran. He wanted to be there!

I am a fly fishing freak i got a 7ft 6in 3 or 4wt and i have caught everything on it from bluegills to a 13 lbs blue cat and a 6 lb bass.
