For me, the best name for the devil is the hebrew one, "Al -Satan" which means 'the accuser.' If you are accusing and not defending others, Satan is your lord, so to speak. Father Matthew, why is there a female priest in your church? I thought femles arne't supposed to be priests?

@Archaeleon Episcopalians (the American version of Anglicans) have had female priests for the past 30 years. A solely male priesthood is unreasonably sexist and denies that Christ is all in all.

@ ARCHAELEON: that female priest is the rector of the parish - Fr Matthew is her curate. She's an old bud of mine and used to hear my confession when she was a canon at the Cathedral of St John the Divine.
