Marigold -- Billy Mayerl

This is the second piece which I played for my audtition at Chetam's School of Music. It is at about a grade 8 (10 in Canada or USA). It is one of my favourite Billy Mayerl pieces.

I am very sorry for the poor audio recording as if you listened to me in real life you would hear that I am actually changing my dynamics whereas here it souds like the same tempo throughout

There's a youtube of Mayerle himself playing this piece. You should go to it and listen. He plays it at the end of the clip. Very virtuosic under his hands. Just punch up billy Mayerl. It'll be in black and white.

This takes me back to 1928 rowing on the thames with the staw hats. Having a pict nick on the riverbank on a nice English summer. And after that going for a nice bike ride around the english summer evening. how wonderful
