I was along the back rail. It was something I'll never forget. I love when The Edge says "oh for fuck's sake" when he's getting it figured out.

Essentially Bono, just before "Moment of Surrender", mentioned "a song" dedicated to their assistant Greg Carroll who died just over 25 years to the day of the performance: "We wrote a song for him....Which we won't be playing tonight," Oops. Crowd lets out a big "AWwwwww..." Bono caught himself just then, checks with the "professor" (as he put it) and later, with no screen, lasers - just house lights - the ultimate encore...
