They said I'm one of the first to get the aaxa L1 laser pico projector. :) I've been waiting for the Microvision one, which I saw at CES, but I'm tired of waiting and just ponied up for this one. It is 800x600 resolution, 20 lumens, and has awesome colors. It also have a built in video player. It's very very cool - expensive though $599 on aaxa's website. But I think it's definitely worth it if you're an early adopter like me. I did a quick review on this laser projector for you guys since I had a lot of people ask me about it. The manufacturer's website is here:
http://www.aaxatech.com/products/l1_laser_pico_projector.htm
It's brighter than the AAXA P1 (12 lumens) because it has both higher brightness (20 lumens) and it has red, green, and blue lasers which make the colors look very vibrant, just like how a plasma TV looks brighter than an LCD TV.
For those still looking to buy this first edition of the L1, know that the in-built movie playing capability is shockingly bad. Appalling, in fact. It stutters at about 3fps, even on low-bitrate content. At least that's my experience. Hopefully v2 fixed this.

Wha...? That's not micro-USB! More like mini-HDMI =P

his review is a little flawed. The wires are Component to HDMI and VGA to HDMI since the video jack on the unit is HDMI.... lol silly scooby.

Yeah, wondering about the speckle. Also can you turn the key sound off? That gets annoying quickly!

Good video! I was wondering more about the aaxa l1 vs the showWX but I think that I'm pretty much sold. Thanks!

Does this come with a connector for an Iphone? Without one it's missing a huge market,
