Age old question? Are you kidding, our basset sheds lots all year round! As for exercise, she and our other dog, a beagle mix, run and wrestle (WWF style) in the yard all the time. I love the constantly wagging tail on the basset!

I just came across your videos today...my Mom and Sister both have basset hounds. My sister and I have been laughing at all of your moments captured with your hounds. Thanks so much for sharing these. Clearly you love your dogs very much. These videos brought a bright spot to a dreary day...and people that understand basset hounds know what makes these dogs so special.

@rzaworotko - I am flattered that Frank and all have brightened your day! I got a photo of him last weekend, he was in his dog bed which was up on top of the coffee table (!) because my husband was cleaning the floors. I wish I'd thought to do a little video - might try to set up the situation again . . . thanks for your comment.
