I should ask Mr. Shepard where I ought to buy my Chanukah gifts. Should I avoid every single store that plays Christmas music throughout the winter season? I think my family would be pretty disappointed. Shalom, Stuart!
-
No, he's upset because he doesn't get special recognition. I think he needs to come down off his high horse and quit pretending that just because his holiday is popular, it's more important than any other observance in the month of December.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! That is how you say it! MY Jewish friend even says it to me!
-
Shows you that everyone has feelings, doesn't it? We get offended too! We bible-beating hateful people (which liberals like to spout out) just want Christmas to actually be recognized by the big companies just like most other Americans do.
-
That doesn't make much sense. If retailers wanted to include the minority who doesn't celebrate Christmas (I believe you meet one person out of every ten), then can't they just mention that there's sales or clearances going on? It's just like Britain, they don't want to offend minorities.
-
Not at all, I think it has a lot more to do with treating us like we are "offensive" while sticking their hands in our pockets. The retailers are the ones that are making a religious statement here.
-
Other people may not get this, but I do. I am tired of religion being treated as a bad thing, something that is offensive to others. When did that happen? I think he has a great point. Merry Tossmas!

Excellent video! Thanks! Merry Christmas!

I don't get it. I go to my grocery store for eggs not religion. I buy my socks at Target. I don't go looking for enlightenment there. I just don't get it. Is he upset because organizations other than religions are profiting from religious observances?

I think multiculturalism is a great thing. Retailers want everybody's money.
I could be wrong (I often am), but isn't Christmas a holiday born of pagan celebration mixed with transference from Roman Catholics?
America has been moving away from the religious aspect of the holiday anyways. The more people say Christmas the more it associates the birth of Christ with consumerism. What's worse not saying the word? Or the word having no meaning? I don't know...
Wow, that was a good laugh... my stomach hurts now though... oh well... merry tossmas everybody!
