i like the vid i like to see people actualy doing something nice for ian insted of calling him a twat and im one of the biggest fans of joy division and most manchester bands i was brought up in the "scene" but its changed now all the clubs have closed down and and the shity posh bands...i recantly got a joy division tattoo...sorry for the randomness...

One thing that doesnt seemed to be commented on very often is how stylish Joy division were especially Curtis, coupled with the fact that he was very photogenic, made for a powerful mix. I always thought they looked incredibly cool (I first got into them in 1983) and that hasnt changed even with the march of time. I loved to know where Curtis got his clothes (somewhere in Manchester?) I dont recall anyone else looking quite like Joy Division before or since.
