Adding & divorcing a partner
Partnerships let you show you care about another Resident in your profile. Partnership is a symbolic status and does not give you special privileges. Partnership registrations are done through the Second Life website at SECONDLIFE.COM/PARTNER. Log into the website, and you will be taken to the partnership screen. You can offer to partner, for a fee. You can include a proposal (it doesn't tell you but the maximum length of a proposal is 249 characters), and enter their first and last name. The proposal will be sent to the email address your to-be-Partner has set @ SECONDLIFE.COM/ACCOUNT. They can then accept or reject your proposal. You can see if you are actively partnered at SECONDLIFE.COM/PARTNERS. If you wish to divorce, you can dissolve the partnership, for a fee.
