Classic holiday ham with pineapple rings recipe!
1 ham 10 to 12pd (spiral cut bone-in)
1/2 cup whole cloves
1 (20 oz) can pineapple rings in heavy syrup
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 can lemon lime or any flavored soda
1 small jar maraschino cherries
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Place ham in roasting pan, score ham with knife. Press cloves into cuts.
Drain juice from pinapple can, mix with brown sugar and soda.
Arrange pineapple rings and cherries all over ham securing with toothpicks.
Pour juice/soda liquid over intire ham.
Bake for 10-12 minutes per pound. Basting every 15 minutes or so. Internal temperature should be 160 degrees.

For additional glaze:
1 cup brown sugar
squeeze of honey
6 Tablespoons of broth from bottom of pan
add cinnimon or nutmeg if you like
Heat all these ingredients in a pan on med. high until bubbling. Make sure sugar is well melted.
Remove from heat, let thicken a bit. Then drizzle over ham.
You can bake it a few more minutes or serve it just like that.
Enjoy!
