Super Metroid Remastered: Maridia ~ Rocky Underwater Area (TX94)

The Rocky Underwater Area theme of Super Metroid has long been one of my favorite songs in the entire series. Something about it was always so eerie. A very haunting piece of feeling alone in a deep, vast, watery grave. This song is essentially in two parts. It starts with Samus approaching Maridia. Eventually she dives into the water and the song takes off. I know a lot of people have been clamoring for this song, so I hope it lives up to expectations!

I could have done without the Pan flute. But after it goes away it sounds so incredible. Even though Maridia is my least favorite Metroid location EVER

Going to be honest here, but I think the panflute or whichever woodwind you decided to use in the beginning was a tad loud to my tastes in comparison to the rest of the ambience. That's just my take on it, however. The song still sounds great, nonetheless.
