What a fantastic thing to share. Thank you so much. Any chance you could point me towards a place I could find the photo you use here? Online would be fine..

Harrison's response was to record the tune "Far East Man" in 1974, opening with a bit of dialogue in which he states "I love ya Frank, hope you do this one at Cesar's Palace for your next live album." Of course, a bit ironic as the tune probably wasn't exactly in line with Sinatra's world view.

@strangecastings Life is short, but (good)music prevails. Thaks everyone who keeps good music alive !

Años después, luego de que me haya ido, alguien escuchará lo que hice y sabrá que yo estuve aquí. A ellos no les importará quién era yo, pero ellos oirán a mis guitarras hablando por mí

Love this Atkins & Reed version of this classic Beatle song. Funny thing is Frank Sinatra was quoted as saying this was his favorite Lennon/McCartney song. We all know who really wrote this song.

I've heard Frank do this song "his way". He introduced it as the greatest love song in the last 50 years, or words to that effect. He then went on to introduce it as a Lennon-McCartney song. In fact, though, it's one of George's.
i hate that death swallowed up these fellas. God this worlds hard

@strangecastings Oh death where is thy sting? Oh grave, where is thy victory? Then shall come to pass the saying "Death is swallowed up in victory."

This is so pretty. I love listening to it. Thank you for posting. Loved Chet & Jerry more than any musicians.
