When he says in the beginning rebuild Newark,does he mean bulldoze that toilet bowl down to the dirt. Thats the ONLY thing will change Newark, lol. This show is just corrupt politicians fighting about who`s getting budget money, and whiny gangbanger scumbags to get on their soapboxes about the injustices in their pathetic lives. This place is the hub of jersey for crime and drugs and the rest of us in the state have to pay for their damage control.

I AM FROM NEWARK, BORN AND RAISED.. I AM KEEPING IT REAL.ITS NOT GETTING BETTER ITS WORSE. THANK GOD I AM LEAVING NEXT MONTH. PEOPLE DONT BELIEVE THE FALSE PORTRAIT OUR MAYOR PAINTS OF NEWARK. NOONE WANTS TO LIVE HERE, CRIME RIDDEN, GANG INFESTED, NO JOBS, HIGH RENT, HIGH TAXES, NO PROTECTION FOR NEWARK RESIDENTS. THE POLICE ARE ALWAYS DOWN BY THE NEW ARENA. IF YOU LIVE IN THE HOOD, POLICE TAKE OVER A HOUR TO GET TO YOU. WWORD OF ADVICE RUN FAR AWAY FROM NEWARK, NJ . REAL FAST I AM ..BE BLESSED

Everyone one can talk a good game about how they grew up in the hood and they've seen violence but when Jayda was talking, all you could see was tonsils and shocked faces! That was real talk! I love the show and wish NJ all the best!

Newark lays off 168 police officers in the month of November and their trying to reduce crime. Place is worse off now than it was just a couple of years ago.

They say they are trying to fix the city,well the 1st step to fixing the/a city is to fix the Politian & Police corrouption of the city.You fix that,and you will see improvement.Citizens attitudes & emotions stem from politics of the city & how the people are delt with.When its ok for police to carry drugs in the trunk of their patrol cars & put those drugs on the citizens at will,the problem is now the Mayor's.
