  • I am not sure if a person can find a safer quad out there that has enough power but not overpowered. I wish mine had the fuel injection but the carb is ok. Just have to remember to choke it for cold starts. The limited slip front diff doesn't make a huge difference to me but a fully lockable one would be better. For the riding I do the 400 is great

  • how many miles do you have on it now ?

  • @stephshane1 It has 895 miles on it right now

  • how has the quad do in water does it get in the belt ? and how have you like it so far

  • @stephshane1 It does well in water and I have not had problems with water in the belt. I got the machine for trail rideing and am pleased with it.

  • @Strutingeagle I'm looking at a black 2011 400 king quad, so you are satisfied with it's performance? I'm curious as to how well the limited slip front end does off road, I have some very hard trails on my farm and sloppy mud, I will probably end up buying a set of 26 inch Swamp Lite tires, to make it a tank.

  • @emgpickups1990 @emgpickups1990 The larger tire size is a real consideration in the trail riding I do. What happens is people are going to larger tires and so the rutts get deeper without them high centering. Then I come along and high center where others with larger tires don't. The performance is fine for the way I ride. The limited slip diff is fine as well. One consideration is if you will use it on a paved road. I don't but if i did I would want open diffs that could be locked.

  • i got a 2011 kingquad 400 its fine for me to,, i love the low end like when you gas it to go up a hill its great doesnt bog down or anything.. TObe

  • @Strutingeagle Yea, most of the trails on my farm we're created by 4x4 pickups with boggers, so I need clearance to get up the hills and drop in the holes.
