The social cauldron is roiling and threatening to boil over. While
we hope for a peaceful transition to a more just and sustainable
social order, the raging barbarian lurking inside even the most
sagacious soul cries out for righteous payback against the elites who
have brought us to this precarious moment. Demagogues stand ready to
channel that anger to destructive ends. It's trite to advise that
changing the world starts with changing the face we confront in the
bathroom mirror, but triteness doesn't excuse our responsibility to
quell the raging beast within and cultivate the better parts of our
human nature
