@motleycrue24 It wasn't the Dana Strum Invasion -- it was Vinnie's song that got them the Chrysalis deal and it was Vinnie's song writing on three COTN and 8 out of 10 LIU songs that saved Kiss. Face it... alleged ego issues aside, both parties used the Ankh Warrior and then when they were done exploiting his talent for their own ends, they abandoned him. Vinnie saved KISS -- they couldn't GIVE the Elder or COTN away w/o him. Give, not sell. KISS was such a failure by Dec. '82 that Ace left.

That's messed up. But then again... for all those years Dana trashed one of my heroes (Vinnie Vincent) ... idk, him & Slaughter walked out on Vinnie and took the Chrysalis deal from under him -- that's a pretty shitty thing you don't do in any band -- even if the band you believe belongs just to one guy and not four. It's a class thing, and in that as much as I love Slaughter -- nothing they did (even though it sold more) matches up to Ashes to Ashes. :)
