Canada is the best country in the world, and Calgary is beautiful city.

Weak people tend to dislike Calgary because it is a city of many oppourtunities and very few handouts. You welfare sucking types do better in BC.
-
And what have you done to make it better?

I have lived in Calgary since I was 7, the salaries suck there are no jobs... and those buildings have a bunch of conformist middle aged old people.. ugly old people.. this city has no youth, everything in downtown closes at 5pm this city SUCKS!!! its the shittiest city in the world and i hate it!!! BOO Calgary!!
Way to completely use the song out of context. City of Blinding Lights is a tribute to the people of New York in the aftermath of September 11th.

Partly true
From wikipedia
Developed from a song called "Scott Walker",1997 album Pop.
The lyrics were partially inspired by lead singer Bono's recollection of his first trip to London, and by the band's experience of playing New York City in the aftermath of the September 11 attacks. Other lyrics refer to Bono's relationship with his wife. The song's underlying theme reflects lost innocence and was inspired by an image Bono saw of himself from the early 1980s.

There is no way to compare Calgary to New York, what the people there suffered was terrible and we mean no offence. All cities have their problems and people who live there can be hurt in many ways, Calgary is no exception.
