Hope you like replacing valve springs cause doing stupid shit like this taking them past 6,000 weakens them very quickly. I know all to well about that since I have to replace mine almost biyearly on my sbc that has a 8,000 rpm redine but I take it no higher than 6,500-7,000 due to the valve springs wearing out excessively. Not only that but the 351W which I assume this is takes a LOT of money to be able to handle 6,000+ rpm safely, they are a trq engine not a high reving engine

@Milner62 yeh im aware of that as i am a mechanic but as you can see this is just a farm hack :D so its all good haha not many people valve bounce 351's :D

@nicholasalanleexr6t, well just saying, not many people know that stuff like this causes excessive wear. They think engines are bullet proof and will never fail. Just like those people that start instantly high reving their engine and driving their engine hard even though the engine is still cold. Thats a big thing that causes wear as well.

But aside from that I am planning on having my 351W built up but redline will be 5,000 I need something to pull hard and fast with 2.50:1 gears.

@Milner62 yeh ive seen the aftermaths from quad turbo v16's throwing a conrod out the side of its block from misstreatment!

and it wouldnt start cold like it did!

@nicholasalanleexr6t, the engine is currently in a 78 Cougar XR7, I just want to build it up to 350hp and 400 - 450 trq. With the 2.50:1 highway axle the car just doesnt have enough get up and go with the oem rating of 145hp and 200 trq.
