Emmylou Harris is joined by David Bromberg for a live version of the Townes Van Zandt song "Tecumseh Valley" from a show in NYC in 1970. This is a lovely song. This is a good version of it, too. Another good cover of it was done in the late 90's by Paul K. from Lexington, KY.

@sszorin I have the feeling that that phrase was a big compliment. I don't talk like that but I feel it is like she's the "BOMB" which I hear overused...and other phrases. Lighten up & don't think Emmylou would like anyone gasoline bombing anyone for anything. Think YOU are missing the point of her music!

Thanks for posting! I was in NYC at the Gaslight in 1970, so it's always wonderful to have these wonderful memories revived.

Response to - eleven1189 - Part 1 - Try to be sane and do not post malicious comments, especially regarding Emmylou Harris, otherwise you might come to harm. Since you seem to be an ignoramus I will explain something to you. Ever since there was music and singing, people sang each other's songs. It is called "doing a cover" and it is a universal practice. If you do not like it then stop listening and start reading books instead. Emmylou can write her own songs, and beautiful they are too.
