I never disagreed that there were Nephilim after the Flood - just that they weren't the product of *angels* mating a second time. The Post-Flood Nephilim - Scripture clearly states - are OF the Nephilim, meaning they are the offspring of the original offspring. There is NO mention of angels ever mating with women again after the Flood.

@cptmang Rob, what about medieval accounts of "incubus" and "succubus"? Of course, perhaps technically these are demons, which from research and listening to other scholars - several of whom you many know personally - these may actually be the rephaim, which if I am understanding correctly are the disembodied "spirits" of the Nephilim. What's your take on this?

@willhahn Yes, incubus and succubus are demons not fallen angels - and yes, demons are the disembodied spirits of the Nephilim. There is no Biblical account of angels ever again mating with women apart from the context of Genesis 6, which was all before the Flood.

@davymatheny My thesis is that Nephilim SEED did indeed make it on the ark through at least one (if not two) of Noah's son's wives. Noah and his wife were pure. That means ALL THREE of their sons were too. Notice that ALL Post-Flood accounts of giants recorded in Scripture make reference to people groups who descended from Ham's lineage. With that clear reference repeated throughout the Scriptures and NO mention of angels, the answer seems obvious: there had to be something about the genetics.
