Creators and Sculptors have put together a replica of the battle as it was depicted by our soldiers. To show and remind Humanity that we were close to extinction due to the war. No matter how outnumber we were, we still won our battles. Thanks to Master Chief: John 117, he gave us hope. Believe in a Hero.

This monument they made is real as to what it's commemorated to is not. It's commemoration goes to Halo itself not an actual war. Still when you look at everything that happened in Halo..it gives an amazing story of how Humanity can survive and how when everyone has a common enemy..it can create new allies and friends. This is proven not only by the humans in Halo, but the Covenant coming together with Earth. Seng'Heli and Humans coming together as one against the flood and the covenant.

If mankind is to prevail in the next 20 years, we need an enemy. Like the concept of Watchmen and even Halo That of, the SPARTAN program was initiated at first to destroy "rebel" colonies ( much like Amerika Rev. war agaisnt Britain) We need an enemy or we wiill keep slaughtering brothers and sisters, forever.
