  • Thanks for posting this, John Landis is one of my favourite directors - I love his sense of humour :)

  • @Lionesskeeper You do know he got Vic Morrow and two innocent children killed right?

  • Just one problem tho - a "romantic comedy" ?!?!

I dunno whether to dread or look forward to this film now.

    This'll be interesting either way.

  • Glad to see Landis knows his history. That skin "wallet" in the small police museum in Edinburgh is really a business card holder made from the skin of Burke's left hand - look closely enough you can see the hair folicles! The iron bars covering a lot of graves and mauseleums in Greyfriars Cemetary are called mortsafes, & some families would even camp by graves of relatives to guard them from resurrectionists. Btw AT LEAST 16 were murdered that we know of. They killed poss as many as 35.

  • Thanks for posting this Q&A.

I was there at the Spooky Empire convention. I went as a VIP.

A friend was supposed to let me borrow his camera so i could record the Q&A but backed out at the last minute.

  • I'm so glad Landis sounds so well informed! (not that i ever doubted him)

  • I'm also glad Landis was so informed. He was great to watch, very entertaining, being a huge Landis fan myself. I was actually in the crowd watching this. I have to say though, the guy hosting it was horrible. He didn't ask any decent questions, and seemed like he had no idea what he was talking about. The folks in the crowd were more well informed than he was. I think Spooky Empire needs to reconsider letting this guy host their celebrity panels at future events.

  • I glad Landis is so informed on the true story. I'm fed up of how wrong lots of films based on Scottish events get it. Hopefully unlike the Body Snatchers Edinburgh might actually be populated by Scottish people not people with American and English accents.

  • American different from Canadian?

  • Oh it's not insulting at all.

Scottish is different from an Irish accent.

The Irish accent has different regional differences. The accent Tennant will have to do is a northern one as his character is from Tyrone.
