@Pigjes Yeah, we just watch ours when they're playing and if we can't watch them, we take the stuff that might hurt them out. We also make sure to put more stuff in their cage that they can chew on, than stuff they can't. For example, we'll place some carrots or celery in places where they'll be playing, but make it a challenge to get them, like hanging them on the toy. It distracts them from eating the toy. Hope that helps!

@CainInACan Thanks! They might eat softer plastic, then remove it. They will eat soft plastic like grocery bag stuff, which can block bowels and kill them. Normally, they don't eat hard plastic. They can sink their teeth in, to see what it's made of, but that's it. Pine wood is safe for them to chew, some other wooden sticks too.
