January 15, 2008 - The Humane Society International today won a historic decision from the Australian Federal Court which the environmental group says could save hundreds of whales from Japanese harpoons. The court ruled tht a Japanese whaling company is in breach of Australian law when it kills whales in the Australian Whale Sanctuary and has ordered tht the hunt be stopped. japanese whalers have been taken to court and the ruling confirms that the hunt is illegal.
think about nature before man is what i say. we humans are our own enemy. rape, homicide, murder, war, psyhos and now we do the same shit to these animals who havent done SHIT TO US! we have more than enough humans. i do pity the suffering humans, but animals like the whales need us more than they do. and i am fighting to save them from these atrocities.
Whalemeat and blubber regularly consumed in Norway may contain some of the world's deadliest toxins. A recent WWF analysis of whalemeat samples purchased in Norwegian markets in 1999 turned up more than 50 PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls) including some chemicals that cause hormonal imbalance.
