I hated Kant from the first time I heard of him, and appearantly, the more I get to know about his ideas, the more I hate him.

I love it how he give us a time to laugh at Kant before he starts talking about Kant. >.<

And I didn't realize the meaning of the pause and perplexity until I saw this comment. Damn! I learned to read English before I learned to listen to it so I cannot listen to those internal pronunciation-based jokes on first hearing!

I believe firmly if you find a gun that belongs to a gangbanger you know, you return that gun to him. For it is his gun and not yours. Plato was wrong when he said you shouldn't return an axe to a madman.

You have touched on a very important point here.
And this gives rise to questions about the very fabric/nature of our reality.

Oh okay, sorry for my misunderstanding. There's nothing wrong with it per se, it just isn't correct and most intellectuals I know are particularly pedantic about grammar.

You misunderstand. I said the spawn of NOT that I was one.
Wot's wrong with Capitalizing the "c" word ? It is more of a Deity to most than any known "God" ;-)

I have a hard time believing an intellectual would capitalise 'cunt', but one can dream.

Yes "wonderful things" like me :-)
As their spawn I feel free to slag them(us) off ;-)
I've come to the conclusion recently that people will never be content as we enjoy being unhappy so much.
Peace.

A lot of wonderful things come from intellectuals so I wouldn't be so quick to cut them down completely. Duty Ethics is really interesting, it only works though if everyone applies it - you wouldn't get robbed or fucked over if everyone lived by Kant's moral rules, however it's impractical to suggest that everyone would. Kant knew that his duty ethics could only be applied to a perfect world.
