  • You are realy realy good at this! you are talented person, as I said before I was in khmer traditional music group, I played ( sompoh ) khmer traditional drum, I love it so much, thank you for sharing!

  • Thank you Pu. It's rare to find someone that can play Sompoh nowadays. It is one of the most difficult instrument since there is a certain way of drumming the beat. Let me know if you have any song request... I can play it for you, that's if I know the song haha

  • this is really good i like classical instruments they sound amazing

  • Thank you. Check out my other ones, I just posted a few more.

  • I am living in Thailand and I can play this song. The Thai name still keep its Khmer original, but I forgot the name.

  • o0o0o0o dat i remeber it now i had to take lessons on it

  • Sompoh is a Khmer traditional music instrument, sompoh is a drum it looks like a congar but shorter length and both ends are covered and we perform it on the floor horizontally.

  • wat is sompoh i dont rlly kno wat it is

  • Thank you for your offer! but I don't know much about the name anymore, it's quite about 25years now that I've never join our khmer traditional music group because, Canada has so litle of khmer population, I only know when I heard you play it, because I was a Sompoh's that's why I don't memorize it that long but, I still can play Sompoh! oh yes I love it! and thank you for your big support to our khmer traditional music! you are the best!
