@leocat99 that's cool. my only point is this: the majority of the american population (and, indeed, the global population) agree with and support the basic message surrounding the unforgivable economic inequality in this broken oligarchical, undemocratic system. there are many other issues, of course, but this is the crux of it all. I just think it's dangerous to talk to a dozen people and look at a drum circle, and extrapolate from there that there is no message. it misses the big picture.

@AgtDaleChomsky - the majority don't support this message. Overall there is a message, more socialism, these people just don't know how to communicate it.

The problem is, the vast majority of OWS voted in a socialist, who is also a crony capitalist. The system is democratic in theory. Stop buying or doing business with a company that is ripping people off, they go out of business. One problem is Obama has "too big to fail."

I have a feeling that the name of Herman Cain would not be welcomed with enthusiasm @ OWS because unions, socialists, and communists are driving the movement.

Go to the communist party USA's website. They are in full support of this movement. This movement is the complete opposite of the tea party movement, which already has had candidates elected.

also, I wouldn't go by the "global" population on anything. Most of the global population is in misery and are followers, we are leaders.

Europe, after being bailed out by US post WWII experimented with socialism the past 30-40 years. That experiment has been a complete failure and they are paying the price for it now as we speak.
