  • I love Artie, but it's odd to hold a grudge against a guy who was moderately rude on one occasion over a decade ago. I don't know if Cross is a nice guy in person or not, but I certainly couldn't judge him based on that.

  • wow orange feminine sofas ?? what are these guys doing at Ricky Martin's house ??

  • Good stuff.

  • Adam Carolla had David Cross on a month later.

  • Adam's making the same jokes he made on Loveline and Artie, having never heard them before, is making them even funnier. Shows how talented he really is. He took Adam's "women don't use ladders" bit and added the whole, "if there were a wallet on the ceiling they would" comment without hesitation. Artie's the man. That simple.

  • Adam should never wear a shirt that is the same color as the couch. The couch looks like it has an ugly head. You're the man Carolla.

  • holy fuck arties a genious.

  • maybe Cross caught arties' shitty act and was turned off by the lack of comedy

  • @acressl Artie definitely seems like a good guy, no question there. Your example made me laugh - I get that he's real (and I don't think he'd kill anyone - I know you only used that to show that no matter how extreme the circumstance Arty tells it like it is/was). Maybe you should write, if you don't already.

  • @CrusaderEmber

IMO Artie is a funnier character than he is a stand up. It's not like this is set. He's just talking. He's always the big, dumb, crude yet somehow lovable goof and thet's pretty much who he actually is. He's real, too. He could relapse Tomorrow, get whacked out of his gourd and kill a hooker and the interview would go:

Reporter: "Why'd you do it, Artie?

Artie: "Well, we ran out of coke, the bitch said she wasn't going to blow me anymore so I choked her until she was dead."
