Off the beaten path - Library of Congress 072107-2

At the Library of Congress, Thomas Jefferson building.
Interesting, beautiful and peaceful place, like a good museum, grand cathedral and a huge library rolled into one.

I switched from one docent (guide) to another. A few words into her spiel, one could tell that english is not the first language of this lady docent. This she confirmed to one of the tourists at the end of the tour. She also mentioned the volunteer nature of a docent. She seems nice
and earnest though. She also has that cute and mildly geeky look going for her:)
