There are only a few surviving North Korean defectors in the world who escaped to North Korea sucessfully.

  • The music really detracts from the video. Way too loud, and almost maudlin. You don't need it to make the point.

  • I have heard Soon Young Kim, she is the choregrapher of the musical "Yoduk Story" and the main character of the musical is loosely based on her.

  • You mean escaped from, right? Why would they escape to North Korea??

  • you people need to understand that a person knowing such an "intimate" thing about the "dear leader" and escaping to speak of her experience is a very extraordinary tthing.

  • I understand wanting to add music and keeping things brief, but really, I would have very much loved to watch this full interview without any of the fade-outs.
