  • ok well you are wrong ive had males up to 30grams in 9 months

  • @420bigtoakley420 yes, you could have males that large in that amount of time. but MOST crested geckos will mature slowly.im not "wrong." you can do many things to make them mature faster and grow faster but im against that. let them grow at their own pace. and if your male has grown naturally that quick then thats great. but every gecko is different just like humans. it may happen to you, but not someone else. you know what i mean? anyway, thanks for watching, hope it helped for the future.

  • your gecko is beautiful! I love the "crest" and big eyes. do they become as tame as leopard geckos?

  • @ColdSideOfPillow136 thanks! oh, yeah! they get real tame but their idea of "tame" is not to sit in your hand and sleep. its to jump around and use you as a jungle gym! LOL

  • @Reptileden98 lol sounds like the opposite of a leopard gecko. can these be handled often? does handling stress them?

  • @ColdSideOfPillow136 y\they can be handled a bit more than leopard geckos as they will not get cold. yes, handling stresses them out after a while. (just like any otherreptile/phib) however, if you form a "relationship" with them, they will actually recognize you and anticipate being taken out of their tank. this only happens after years of keeping though

  • @Reptileden98 i have never had such a "bond" with a herp, though I really do wish to establish one with my treefrog and leopard frogs (hopefully gray treefrogs in spring) with the process of hand feeding and SLIGHT handling. all susane does when I hold her is pee on me LOL though I am aware amphibians are not to be handled often.
